Who hasn't always wanted to explore the countryside and beaches of Greece? How about a holiday on Rhodes? Due to the coronavirus-related restrictions and low numbers of holidaymakers, we were able to take advantage of an affordable offer to explore the island for a week.

First we travelled by plane from Hamburg to Rhodes. We then hired a car for the whole week directly from the airport. This then took us directly to the Spar resort. Full board with everything you could wish for awaited us there. During the day, we went on round trips to explore the island. This included sightseeing spots, secret beaches and sporting activities, as well as partying at the weekend in the party capital.

In general, the island offers many different sights from the early antiquity with many dilapidated as well as intact buildings. These are spread all over the island and are waiting to be explored. A day trip to Rhodes Town is also worthwhile. There, besides the architectural buildings, a variety of taverns and restaurants are waiting to be explored.
