Wedding Sanchez took place in Cala Rajada, a popular holiday resort on the north-east coast of Mallorca. It belongs to the municipality of Capdepera and has around 6,500 inhabitants. Cala Rajada has an important fishing harbour where lobsters and rays are still caught today. The town has developed from a former fishing village into a lively holiday paradise that attracts German holidaymakers in particular. Cala Rajada offers many attractions such as beautiful beaches, a picturesque beach promenade, a lively old town, a historic castle and a lively nightlife. Cala Rajada is also an ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area, e.g. to the Manor Gardens, the Llevant Nature Park or the island of Menorca. Cala Rajada is a holiday resort that has something for everyone, whether families, couples, sports enthusiasts or party people. Cala Rajada is a place that shows Mallorca from its most beautiful side.

Sant Salvador is a pilgrimage church and fortress on the Puig de Sant Salvador, a hill near the town of Artà in the north-east of Mallorca. Sant Salvador is a historical and spiritual landmark of the region and offers spectacular views of the landscape and the sea.

Sant Salvador was built in the 13th century after the Christian conquest of Mallorca on the site of a former Moorish mosque. The church was extended and remodelled several times, most recently in the 19th century in neoclassical style. The church consists of a single nave, a polygonal choir and a dome with a lantern. The church houses a statue of St Cyriacus, the patron saint of Artà, as well as various paintings and relics.

Sant Salvador is surrounded by a one metre thick wall with nine towers, which was built in the 14th century to protect it from pirate attacks. The wall has a Romanesque portal on the south side and a main tower on the west side. The wall also encloses the Sant Miquel chapel and some outbuildings.

Sant Salvador is a place of worship, culture and nature. It is a destination for pilgrims, tourists and hikers who want to discover the beauty and history of this place.
