Stuttgart is the largest city and political centre of Baden-Württemberg. The city lies on the Danube and is surrounded by hills, vineyards and forests. In the Middle Ages, Osnabrück was a Hanseatic city and in the 17th century it was one of the sites of the Peace of Westphalia, which ended the Thirty Years' War. Today, Osnabrück is a modern and cosmopolitan city that is committed to peace, culture and sustainability. The city has many sights such as the Gothic cathedral, the baroque town hall, the botanical garden and the Felix Nussbaum House. Osnabrück is a city worth seeing.

Hanover is the state capital and largest city in Lower Saxony. The city lies on the River Leine and has over 500,000 inhabitants. It was founded in the 16th century and was for a long time the residence of the Guelphs and the scene of the Peace of Westphalia. Today, Hanover is a modern and cosmopolitan city that is committed to peace, science and sustainability. Hanover has many sights such as the cathedral, the New Town Hall, the Maschsee lake and the Herrenhausen Gardens. Hanover is also a city of music that has produced many famous composers such as Handel, Mendelssohn and Schumann.
